Piletilevi Group, the pioneer behind Estonia’s first online ticketing system and now a leading ticketing platform in Central Europe, is proud to announce its rebranding to PLG for international markets.
The rebranding signifies a major step forward in the company’s evolution, solidifying its position as the largest ticketing operator in Central Europe. Beginning with the first online ticketing system in Estonia, Piletilevi Group expanded to Latvia and Lithuania, becoming the Baltic market leader. Today, the company operates in seven countries, including the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, and Romania. The name PLG, derived from Piletilevi Group, preserves the connection to its original brand while adopting a more international and neutral image.
The new name, PLG, and the tagline, “Moments That Matter”, reflect the company’s core values: integrity, excellence, innovation, efficiency, and creating meaningful connections between audiences and unforgettable experiences. Whether in music, theater, sports, or cultural events, PLG is dedicated to creating moments that matter in everyone’s lives.
From Local Innovator to Regional Leader
Over its 28-year history, PLG has transformed ticketing into a modern, user-friendly experience. The company launched Estonia’s first online ticket sales for Michael Jackson’s 1997 Tallinn concert, setting the stage for digital and cross-border ticketing innovation.
Sven Nuutmann, Chairman of PLG, noted: “By leveraging the latest technologies and local talent, we aim to break barriers and make entertainment accessible to everyone. Over the years, we have expanded our presence and technology to serve millions of customers across multiple markets, establishing ourselves as the regional leader in Central Europe. The PLG rebranding symbolizes our commitment to delivering meaningful moments to audiences across Europe and beyond.”
PLG continues to enhance its technology, expand partnerships, and provide user-friendly ticketing solutions. The tagline “Moments That Matter” underscores the group’s dedication to creating shared experiences that bring people together.
The rebranding also includes a fresh logo and modernized visual identity, embodying the vibrant, diverse, and inclusive spirit of live events. Customers and partners can explore the new brand and vision at www.plgmoments.com.
Expanding Across Central Europe
Last summer, PLG began a vigorous expansion in Central Europe, acquiring majority stakes in Romania’s Bilete.ro, the Czech Republic’s leading ticketing platform GoOut.net, and Polish companies kicket.com and biletomat.pl. Recently, the group also acquired Ticketing Nation s.r.l., a well-known player in Romania operating platforms Entertix.ro and Myticket.ro.
The rebranding was led by Velvet, Estonia’s leading design agency. Janno Siimar, Velvet’s design director, described the partnership: “This collaboration is a testament to the strength of long-term partnerships. Over the years, we’ve gained a deep understanding of PLG’s business dynamics and the unique characteristics of the ticketing industry. This knowledge allowed us to focus on creating a brand that represents both today’s international PLG and the much larger global enterprise it aspires to become. The new identity is like a well-tailored suit – elegant yet comfortable; eye-catching without being overwhelming. The pattern symbolizes memorable life moments, while the color palette reflects PLG’s energy and innovation. We didn’t reinvent the wheel but gave form to something already intrinsic to the company – a DNA focused on creating special moments. It’s inspiring to see an Estonian company confidently staking its place among the world’s top tech and entertainment enterprises. PLG’s journey is far from over, but its direction is clear, and its ambitions are high. We are proud to be part of this story,” added head of the design team, Janno Siimar.
PLG, owned by entrepreneur Sven Nuutmann’s investment firm Angel Rose Capital and the Baltic region’s largest private equity investment firm BaltCap, is an international ticketing company operating in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
Serving a market of 79 million people, PLG facilitates 16 million ticket sales annually with a total value of €310 million. Its websites attract 116 million visits per year, showcasing the platform’s popularity and user-friendliness. These achievements are supported by a strong team of 250 employees.
